You know the season is in full swing when the school puts on it's annual Christmas Program! It always amazes me how much work goes into these programs and makes me grateful for the hard working teachers and staff who teach and lead our children everyday! The children are amazing and it is so fun to see them act and dance. Their personalities shine through loud and clear!!!

THE BIG SEVEN!!!
Time just seems to speed up! It is so hard to believe that a whole year has flown by so quickly and my boy who it feels like, just turned six is now seven years old!!!! It was a fun day and I am so grateful everyday for this sweet boy who came into our lives seven years ago.

Arrow of Light
Time seems to continue to speed up in our lives. My once 6lb. 18" baby is now 5 feet tall and growing faster than I can keep up with. Sometimes I really wish he could go back to the little innocent baby he once was but I wouldn't trade all of the growth and experiences he has had and we have shared together for anything. Watching Mason get his Arrow of Light was so rewarding and I know that it will be an experience he will have to look back on and be proud of. On to Boy Scouts and the adventures I know await him there.
I don't know if this video works but I stuck it in there just in case.

HASTLE!!!!!!!
I finally figured this blog thing out! What a hastle! I was beginning to wonder just how worth this blogging really is but I have so many memories recorded from events that I didn't want to erase because it really is a journal to me. So, here I am after a lot of sweat and silently muttered words, with a fresh blog. YAY!!!!!!!

BLOG EXPLOSION!!!
So I go to get on my blog and it looks like all of my backgrounds and templates have exploded all over the place! All I can say is I am not figuring it out and since I have very little time, I will have to do it at a slower pace. If anyone knows what I might be able to do to fix it, please leave a comment. Sorry it looks so bad!

Trick or Treat
I can't believe that another Halloween has come and gone! Our kids dressed up for so many parties, carnivals and trick or treating that their costumes became like a second skin! We had so much fun! It is always so fun to see their eyes light up when they get to run from house to house saying those ever endearing words, "Trick or Treat!"

Time Keeps On Tickin'
I can't believe how fast time flies!! It feels like we just took last years pictures of our kids and here we are, a year later, trying to capture a little of the time that we have while our children are still young!! We had so much fun during the photo shoot. I just wish my daughter was not trying to look like a bully...she is so little and cute but there is so much energy and troublemaking going on in that little head of hers! So here's to a new year, with bigger, smarter children who we love to distraction!!!

Moments of Love!
You know, at times as a mother, I have tried to figure out what it is that makes my kids behave the way they do towards each other. There are those days when I am pretty certain they would be happy if they never had to see one or the other again. Then, there are these precious moments when I don't have to make them love each other, I don't have to threaten them to be nice, they just do it. They pick the craziest times to show they care and I am just grateful for cameras to capture those moments that they, I am sure, didn't want mom to see. These are the moments that make being a parent the most rewarding thing I could be doing right now! These are the times that catch my breath and make my heart beat just a little bit faster... they are moments of love.

I Love to see the Temple
I have always loved to see Temples! They stand as a brilliantly, beautiful witness that we are God's children and we do have a purpose here in this life. My testimony however, has grown in leaps and bounds as I get the chance to attend a temple so close I can see it up on the hill from my house!! I can see it's shining beauty when I go out for a run and it stands there in front of me. I can see it as I go to Rexburg for errands and I feel so blessed to have something so beautiful that I can go to and teach my children about! I trully do love to see the Temple!!

Our Dodge Durango
This is our wonderful vehicle several years ago. This SUV. has become a part of our family. It has travelled hundreds of thousands of miles and its dependability has been counted on more than any vehicle should have to hold up to. I am saddened to say that it is sitting quietly in the parking lot of a mechanic shop right now and we are pretty sure that she is on her last leg. As much as it pains us to say, we are going to have to get a new vehicle soon. I just have to say, that if all Dodge Durangos run as amazingly as ours has, for as long as ours did, they are well worth owning. We are sad to see it sitting there as we drive by and hope we can get things taken care of soon. Finacially and emotionally, we are sad that our vehicle is not working properly anymore.

The Boys of Fall
Football season has begun!!! Mason is having soooo much fun playing and to top off the fact that he is playing a sport he has looked forward to forever, he also gets his dad as his head coach! Mason has already had to have x-rays, been buried by piles of his rival teams, and had his body smashed, poked, scratched, and pulled and he loves the game even more because of it!! I have not figured out how a game that causes so much pain could be not just loved but looked forward to, but I have really enjoyed watching my little boy grow and change because of this responsibility and challenge. A side note, Mason's team has still not gotten their jerseys that we paid way too much for (NO COMMENT) so, he is either wearing a blue Boise State shirt or the #91 Cureton Jersey. I told him that I won't recognize him when he has his own jersey because I will still be looking for #91 Cureton. This is a fun time and I love sharing it with him and the rest of our family!
