FIREWORKS!!!

If you miss your city's firework show, you must be incredible slackers... or at least that's what we thought before our neighborhood broke out all of the fireworks that they had gone to Wyoming to buy. We found out very quickly that Wyoming fireworks are some GOOD fireworks. What is not legal in Idaho is in Wyoming and we got a fantastic show from it! It was a good 4th my camera just didn't capture it like I had hoped but here is a peak at the fun!

Oh, What do you do in the Summertime?

Oh, what do you do in the summertime when all the world is green? Do you try to act cool, or play by the pool, or ride on the Carousel high? Is that what you do, so do I!!!

FIRE! FIRE!!

There was a fire out on some land not too far from Rexburg and it turned the skies dark and creepy! Lots of people from our ward worked out by the fire and they had to be evacuated! It was taken care of before it did too much damage but it made for an interesting view for a couple of days!

Yellowstone and Good Company

We had the chance to have Mark's brother Keven and his wife, Angie and little baby Carter come and visit us earlier in July! It is always soooo fun when we get together and we made it even more exciting by taking a trip up to Yellowstone while they were visiting. We got to see amazing views and wonders of nature plus we got poured on!! The rain came down just as we all got to "Old Faithful" but that didn't stop us, we just got wet and enjoyed the view! It was a great time and we made some fun memories!

Baseball Madness!!

As soon as the baseball season wound down in May, Mason was asked to play on the All-Star team for Sugar City! Little did we know what was coming but through all of the practices, trips, sunburns, hotel rooms, and equipment costs, we had so much fun taking this journey with Mason this Summer!

We got to travel to St. Anthony for the first game, which is only 15 minutes from our home. Then we got to go to Driggs Idaho which is pressed smack dab up against the Teton Mountains...could it get anymore beautiful? Finally we made our way south to Bear Lake near Montpelier, Idaho. This was the ultimate trip and we had sooooo much fun catching some serious rays, waves, and baseballs.

After a 3 hour game between us (Sugar City) and Rexburg, we beat them soundly and went to the lake for some cooling off and relaxation! What a blast watching this team pull together and play even outside of Baseball. Mason's little brothers and sister loved it all too!

We finished all of this Allstar Madness off with 2nd Place trophies and some of the greatest memories ever!! We are looking forward to getting back next year to see these boys and play some more ball!
