Mason's New Glasses

Mason finally got glasses. He needed them so badly for a while now and he loves how they help. He looks pretty cute too we think.

Family Photos

We took our family pictures which is nothing short of bloodshed and tears by the time we are finished. The ever popular lines of, "How many more do we have to take?", or "How many more minutes is just a second?", are heard as the camera attempts to capture all of us at least looking at the camera at the same time. It is always a crazy task but the knowledge that we have a current picture of our family and children gets us through until the next year.

A Day At the Lake

We had the chance to take the boys over to Folsom Lake here in Sacramento. If anyone has been to Lake Lowell in Nampa, it is like that in comparison. It is no Lucky Peak or Lake Powell but it was fun for what we had the chance to do that day. We are missing water skiing and cannot wait to get back out on the Lake with a boat!!!

Makenna Lee Balzen Arrived on August 29, 2007. She was a whopping 9lbs. 3oz. and 21" long. She has been such a joy to our little family and it has been so fun having a girl in the mix with our three boys. She is a blessing in our lives.

Our new little baby was born August 29, 2007. She weighed a whopping 9lbs. 3oz. and was 21" long. She has been so much fun! We did not know if she was a boy or girl in the ultrasound. She hid well. So, her birthday was a surprise for all of us! I made the doctor show me not just tell me that she was a girl. I did not believe him. After all, we have three boys. I did not think we would get a girl. We love all of them and are so excited about our new little addition to the family.
