A Little Boise and A Little More Soccer!

Mark had a conference for work up in McCall, Idaho this past week so I met him with our kids over in Boise for the weekend. We stayed with Keven and Angie, Mark's brother and his wife and they took such amazing care of us. We got to go out to dinner with them and Mark's parents, swimming with the whole family and went to the Pioneer Day Breakfast one of the mornings. We had stick pull contests and the kids participated in a sack race. We had a nice time and were sad to have to leave Boise when the time came. We lived there for about six years and miss it a lot. We really miss being closer to our family. As soon as we got home, Mason started up his soccer practices. We have not had much down time but it keeps us busy and happy.

Soccer Days!

We Have officially started soccer season again! This is Makay's first year and he loves it! We had the chance to go to his first practice and watch him in action! It was fun but seriously hot! Mason, Matthew and Makenna took turns sitting in the stroller because the grass was soaking wet and it was the only dry place out there. I caught Mason in it. He doesn't love the fact that I took a picture of him in it but I couldn't help myself. My oldest baby has grown a lot from when he truly could have used it. Over all it was fun to be out and although this means the beginning of schedules and school again, it is fun to watch this side of my kids.

Splish Splash Its A Summer Bash!

We have been really enjoying the few weeks that actually feel like summer here in Idaho. Mark's sister, Christina came up to visit and we went to the water park for some much needed refreshment. We went on the biggest scavenger/treasure hunt I have ever taken the kids on all around Rexburg. We got to know BYU-I students and saw and did a lot of fun things for that. Summer has been a nice break from the usual schedule and grind of life and we have been able to enjoy the small things in life a little better because of it!

Camping at Tony's Grove Near Logan, Utah

This is a long post!! We had the chance to go camping with some of our family near Logan, Utah in the mountains. It was a lot of fun! We had some mishaps happen. Mark's brother's family all took turns with the flu and Makay was bucked off of a horse resulting in our getting to know the hospital in Logan really well. He is doing great though and believe it or not is so excited to get back on a horse (as long as it is a nice one). We had the chance to catch up with our family who we have not seen very much this past year and enjoy the beautiful mountains. It was a good camp out and we enjoyed the time there!
